Top Seeds Locked In the Premiership & Masters, All To Play For In Division II

Week 14 throughout the Okanagan Premier League has the leagues in different positions regarding the push for playoffs. In the Masters, the top seeds are all solidified as Acera & Kelowna City have clinched the top two seeds with Misfits comfortably in 3rd position. Kelowna United F.C. and Glory Days Athletics have clinched the top seeds in the Premiership with HDC sitting solid in 3rd place. The bottom three seeds in each division have room for movement as teams will want to secure the highest possible seed to get a better matchup for the playoffs. Check out our 'Statistics' pages to keep up with not only how the teams are doing, but the individual stats as well.

The table is getting tighter by the week toward the final weeks of the Championship season. With Sterling Mutual holding just a two point lead, the job is far from done to clinch first place as the team in form, Rutland Young Boys, are right on their heels. A close three points below RYB are DMA, Volta, Play-it-Again, OFC 2007b, APNA who are within only two points from each other. One of those teams will go through heartbreak and miss the playoffs but the extra matches toward the title go to the teams that deserve the victories.

Fixtures to look forward to include DMA hosting APNA who can leapfrog them into playoff position and RYB host Volta who can level the Rutland club on points with the win. Carlton Athletic need all the points from the leaders Sterling to keep their playoff hopes alive. Parched F.C, African Giants and Grenfell United have been eliminated from their own playoff hopes. Good luck to all teams heading into the twilight of the regular season.
