The Okanagan u21 club had a season series of 1 win, 1 loss and 1 overtime win against their first team Okanagan Football Club. With not much separating these teams, it's a toss up who has the edge in the match that means the most. The winner will go on to face Kelowna United F.C. in a historic semi-final. Okanagan u21s top scorer Chey Ragoonaden (8) is anticipated to have an influence on the game as well as veteran F.C. top scorer Lucas Hicklin (11) who has been part of the club for nearly a decade. It will be interesting who show up in goal for the sides as they've been all over the shop with their selections throughout the season.
The second match has HDC Peachland playing host to Midtown F.C. who have been able to get some points toward the end of the season. Midtown F.C. have Golden Ball winner Stefan Obradovic (13) who will need to continue his set-up play as Midtown need all the firepower they can get. HDC have many options for goals including top scorer Brandon McCallum (11) as well as Matt Reese, Alex Sol and Zac MacInnes who equal more than 35 goals combined. HDC won the season series 3-0.
The Master's Division featured all close games on the weekend. Acera F.C. and Kelowna City snuck away with narrow 1-goal wins building their strong records while JVL Excavation topped Primo F.C. equalling their season record of 2 wins, 10 losses and 2 draws. The last week of the regular season in the Master's Division is next Sunday from 4:30pm.
